The Communicable Disease Control Program is committed to preventing the occurrence and spread of communicable disease within the community, providing information to the public to prevent the transmission of communicable diseases, and implementing disease control strategies.

  • Factors which influence the transmission of disease
  • Evaluation of treatment or control measures for diseases
  • How to prevent disease transmission
  • The prevalence of a disease in specific geographic areas
  • Potential outbreaks including food-borne
